Ok, I had this monster on the drawing board for nearly 2 months before finally getting the parts from ebay and GW. In which time I had a pretty good idea of how I wanted this thing to look, and which to be honest it almost looks exactly like the quick sketch I had done.

Took about a week and half on and off, so about 72 hours of solid work. Built in 3 sections then lumped together, and with a healthy amount of spare parts for BFG(which is a rarity), plas card and cities of death bits I slowly created the best ship I've done yet, IMHO.

In the last 2 pics you can see the super Uber guns that shoot a dangerous amount of cheese. I don't have time tonight to explain all the guns so will update this thread tomorrow, as really late and have work bright and early.

Oh, nearly forgot a size comparason.

Lol....was wanting it to be bigger but wasnt really an option without 1.running out of parts and 2.making a bigger dent in my wallet than I already did for this project. Also any bigger it would seriously limit its movement on the board.

Ok, here comes the cheeseiest list of weapons you've might of seen on 1 ship.

2 planet killer style cannons (prow)
They fire in a stright line and don't ignore sheilds.
Doesnt cause critical hits, just hits as normal as can cause 12 hits of damage(on a good roll).
8 torpedos (prow)

15 Bombardment cannons (dorsal & belly) left, right, front.

starboard 8 lance turrets
         20 firepower
         6 torpedos  

Port      8 lance turrets
         20 firepower
         6 torpedos

Rear, that's right, the rear.
         8 firepower
         4 lance turrets

9 squadrons of thunderhawks

20 hits to destroy
Armour 6+
5 sheilds


Movment is much the same as a standard battlebarge, due to the extra engines I have put on the model itself. For turning there are extra engines for that placed at the front just before the rows of firepower cannon start. So infact exactly the same as your standard BB.

I've had it in few battles where I've put it up against 10 In crusiers of different kinds and even though they did a good amount of damage, this ship still took them all on and won with 5 hit point remaining. Strangely enough it lost to just 4 chaos crusiers with long range lance turrets.

Ahh, its good to have fun and over do things. But with the black templars fleet based nature I thought a ship of this size would be a good idea for my fleet.

But hey, if you and your opponents had fun above doesn't matter.

However 2 things which bug me hugely:
* the Armageddon (PK), two of them, on a Barge is daft. The Armageddon Gun is Warp fueled and constructed in the Eye of Terror

* Space Marines DO NOT have access to lances on capital ships, only venerable battle barges have them and the Nova frigate. No no no.

Cool build though.  

Don't post these stats on Port Maw unless you tag it at 1500 points

I could agrue you on that BH, regarding the uber gun, could say its just a super dooper uber lance cannon. But thats just making excuses.

And yeah, I know the restriction with lances, but as said and as you know its all just fun. Besides I hate losing the battle  

Wow! Well that is a Battle Barge! That is certainly something to shove in to Abaddons throat!
