![]() I'm not real happy with the sculpting on these. Some limbs seemed like they had more joints than commonly associated with the human form. The eyes were a major pain, and I hate painting eyes to begin with. These are going to be used with 5150 and probably a little bit of Stargrunt if I decide to buy more. |

Oops, already asked about the quality in the "what are you working on" thread. Not real happy with them then? |

They're not totally unusable. From tabletop gaming distance they're ok, but for $14.00 I'd expect more. The legs are too short (most evident in the one on the far left in the pic, but it really shows when viewed from behind) and some of the arms bend at odd places. Ones face was badly miscast and looked like a mutant. What disappoints me so much about them is that the overall design concept of the minis is quite good, just poorly executed. Part of the problem may have been one of expectations as well. Most pics of them online are quite well done. I'll probably buy some more later, but only after some serious bargain hunting. The figures are white metal. I think only their vehicles are resin. I even think the war droid is metal. The metal itself was comparable to metals used by other manufacturers. Oh, another rather minor gripe is that some of their equipment pouches don't make much ergonomic sense. If they had been priced at $10 for the five ($2 per fig) I'd probably be less critical. {edited to correct material the vehicles are made of} |

Those are the first versions. The seconds ones (with the separate head bits) are better sculpted. Nice paint job though. |

I've had my eyes on PI infantry for some time as a proxy Union army for Vor. Anyone have other suggestions? |

I have these guys, and a Wardroid (which is also metal). I like the infantry, and Wardroid is excellent. I do take your point, though. |

They're cool. I think i'll buy some Kolonial ones to make a mix with my imperial guards soon. |

I received myt order of command section, 2 assault teams, and infantry booster (25 minis total). I'm pretty pleased with appearance although I thought teh assault teams would have separate heads also. |
