![]() Sprayed silver, red and a few other colors painted on then Woodland Scenics washes all the way. I basically was having a shot at Onyx's painting style to match the orks he done for me. The Hulk was done ages ago. I just done everything else today from assembly to painted to first game in a minute. |

I was pretty pleased to get it all done. It was my first attempt at using that style of painting. I managed to have the silver spray can I undercoated them with go crazy on me though, I forgot to clean the nozzle and it jammed on then when I was trying to clear it I pulled the nozzle off and ended up with the entire contents of the can emptying out at maximum rate. Sensibly I had it pointed right at my face so my eyes are feeling a little rough still. Another shot of the hulk. ![]() The basic shape was cut out of foam card then chunks of expanded polystyrene were used to fill it out. It has all sorts of bitz in there from a coral nid infestation to a pacer erraser massive gun, tablet bottle lid engines, guitar tuning peg gun and all sorts of junk that was collected together at a local gaming club when we were making terrain (well everyone else was making terrain I made a space hulk) for a huge BFG mega battle. |

Personally I'm gonna start with Fafrin's article in Warp Rift. An entire fleet of Roks and a Hulk. Cheap to begin with and very slowly buying Orks ships 2nd hand. |
