Hi,
Brilliant Krooza. I love the double-tracks. I think the second one just needs a bulkier turret to improve it, but they're both excellent.
Cheers, Freshmetal

Nice work Krooza, and I'd leave the second as is - ever seen the French char B? It had similar proportions.

Yes, the small turret is no problem. As many of the French '40 AFVs, (as "V" points out !) had one man turrets. Orks = French ... NOOOooo !

Finally I can post my first entry in the working thread too..
Yesterday, at long last, I got my magnets from K&J, so this afternoon I had two firsts for me: my first BFG ship and my first magnetic project.
After fiddling around for almost 4 hours, I'm now the proud owner of a polarity wand (a long lost artifact of power ), and an imperial cruiser is shaping up with 4 tiny magnets embedded in its hull. I've also embedded 2 magnets in two of the turret thingies; now I need to find a way for the cannons and the launch bays. Cannons will be easy; I plan to drill a little depression and glue the magnets in (not completely embedded as I've done with the turrets, 'cause the cannons have a slope); the launch bays look more difficult as they're "empty" inside and I've no place to glue the magnet to... I'll probably need to glue a little plastic stick to the bays' frames and the magnet will go at the end.
A couple months ago I got seven of those Imperial cruisers off Ebay just to have a look, and I must say I like the minis; the game is another matter though, and I have my doubts... but I'll probably end up buying the box anyway, for the cruisers if not for anything else.

Great work all round, particually from the forges of mr Warmaster Nice (theres a surprise ) -heh, anyway, I'm now home as you may or may not have noticed, busy catching up with mail and new posts here, its been a busy week!
In the real world I've had a week away visitng family, done a little kiteboarding, some shopping- I now have a nice new X-acto style knife, a stack of some secondhand SF paperbacks (how I love them ), some new music and other general niceness!! I played a BFG game at a local area club, and did a little trade for a few old epic Ork pieces... all in all a succesful trip!
Oh, and a letter on the doormat from Herts uni- my interview was sucessful last week and they've offered me a place... woo!
Heres me out on my board on Wednesday, much fun was had....
