Here's a quick work in progress pic of the Slaanesh titan: - I plan to model some sort of trapped souls into the leg armour. I've already tried it but it didn't come out right so i'll have to try again.
- The head is one of the old Adeptus titanicus titan head variants with a pair of "slaaneshi" eyes made from green stuff.
- The Warp Woofer is a plastic Multiple rocket launcher with a grille added to the front and some green stuff decorations. This part will also have some wires and stuff added later on.
- It doesn't show off very well on the pic bit the chain is attatched to a pair of breasts and wherre the reactor should be I have sculpted some trapped souls.
- The plasma gun pretty much speaks for itself. Sculpted from green stuff the back carapace has spikes made from tooth pics which wiill simulate iron spikes penetrating the fleeshy texture of the titan armour. I tried to capture some of that perverse masochistic aura which is slaanesh' trademark.
- I'm not sure if I should add some kind of a tail.
*** Maybe some kind of tentacles? ***
Cheers!

Looks good, WMN - especially the head - very Slaaneshi. For the 'lost souls' - try spreading a layer of green stuff or equivalent, and press 40k scale heads or skulls onto it to make an imprint. Might work. Re -tail - try making a whip-tail.

Hi all, I realised I'd omitted mentioning what I got from the wife for my brithday (apart from non-gaming stuff) - a Lord of The Rings Mumak! This is a terrific model, and in spite of the load of WH and 40K stuff waiting to be painted for the upcoming tourneys and the Epic competition project, I couldn't resist starting to work on it. And it's BIG! Fopr non-purists who would gladly convert LOTR stuff to WH40k or WH, it's a massive model, too big for Epic, although it would make a great 40K alternative Squiggoth. In my case I'm sticking with the LOTR theme - too nice to convert.

I saw a pic of it... and I have to say that if that pic was live size then OMG! It really is HUGE. Congrats Vanvlak that you get the opportunity to paint such a fantastic model.
Cheers!

Thanks WMN - I'll measure it later on and I still have to get a digital camera - a photo next to a dwarfed LandRaider should put it in perspective. Oh - a WH40K LR. A dozen Epic ones could fit in its howdah!
Ok, it's 13cm high without the howdah. That would add several more cm, almost doubling its height.
