What a beast! ...nice one.... 
-I finished the radar dish from my snow terrain, and made a little rocky outcrop too- I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out! Pics tommorow (hopefully).

Hi all, am working on my WHFB vampire army - have designed my Necromancer conversions, painted the zombie test model, and fixed up two old skeletons and two vampire bats; and have started painting my sbandieratori - er, I mean my ghouls - and have completed construction of my third one. Oh well, just 150 models to go...

Did some more work on the Feral Orks today... (must be some kind of virus... Damn you Iblixdrax!  )
Painted some Squig Katapults, Junkatrukks (FW Gunwagonz) and some Feral Orks to double as a Snakebite Clan in Netepic. I also slightly reworked some of my old Boarboyz to look more in line with the rest of the army. Next up are some Grotz to use as cannon fodder...
Now I eagerly await some more reinforcements -Two more gargantuan Squiggoths and a box of infantry.
The army so far looks like this:

Standard of Devastation status change: FINISHED!!!
Whew, it was quite a bit of work to do, fortunately painting it was quite straightforward in comparison to modelling the banner pole...
I also had to paint over some of the green on the banner front, as the xerox was somewhat lighter then the original, and the green border looked too flashy in the result.
Got to painting another (sheesh) Tactical Marine. This one is in Mk6 armor, but with an Iron Eagle type of helmet.

Just starting the kroot conversions for epic. I'm trying to put flamers on them and will be making some scout riders.
Any ideas for mounts. So far I've been given a swarm of chaos lookoing chaps on biped lizard things  however they may end up converted to penal battalion tropical rough riders.
So any ideas for kroot mounts would be appreciated.

Those "Slanneshi Riders" (I've got 2 dets.), that you discribe would make good Kroot mounts IMO ...

Did you see the F/W Newsletter ? They show their new 40K scale Knarloc Riders! Very Cool! These would make a good "template" for you. By the time F/W or S/G do them in Epic scale I'll be old and fat! Oh ... wait ... I am old and fat!

I'm getting older and fatter so they must be comming soon.In fact if it hastens the production I am willing to sacrifice myself and continue getting older and drinking more beer and eating. What more could they ask
