Hey tell those Squat Miners to get out of there!!! ...On second thought: Perhaps you shouldn't...You never know when they'll decide to part their Hellbore or Cyclops there too...
Cheers!

After mentally filtering out the works and workers it looks like a nice little street, I take it your house is right behind you Mind you with squat miners working away and an ork battlewagon turning up it's a miracle if anything is left standing

These past few weeks I have been mostly converting models into Delaque gangers.
I cant afford new models at the moment, but some Commissar models look rather similar (after sawing off their heads and replacing them with a blob of green stuff)

My hands are covered in yellow paint. ...and no, I haven't been painting easter eggs. I decided it was finally time to get some serious work done on my Eldar army so I pulled out most of the vehicles to give them a basecoat of yellow. I'm plannig to do the army in the classic Alaitoc Studio army scheme: Yellow with black tiger stripes.
After two hours of work (why oh WHY didn't i simply use a spray can instead!!!) The following uunits are now standing on my desk ready for shading and highlighting:
6 FW Nightspinners 3 Fireprisms 6 Tempests 12 Plastic Falcons 9 FW Falcons 12 SG Wave Serpents 10 stands of Jetbikes 5 stands of Vypers 3 War Walkers 6 Vibro Cannons
As you might imagine I can't stand to see more yellow for today so NO SMILIES in this post ...Oh damn!
I still need to do my flyers but I think I'll do them in the dark blue which seems to be the current fashion for Alaitoc...
Cheers!

Hi,
Got a chance to do some painting today, so worked on my Orlock gang Heavy.
Heavy Stubber
Not the best picture, but will get better ones when it's complete. The Gang Leader is up next.
Cheers, Freshmetal

Some minor painting work on one of the SoB... not much but a good beginning anyhow.
Made a major floppy cleanup / scan. Since Windows XP does not support surface scan (WTF were they thinking when they removed this option???), I dug out the Windows 95 version of Scandisk. Some altered settings in Scandisk.ini and a batch file saved me a lot of hassle. Rest was just a formality. About 6 floppies were trashed because of badsectors , and I gained 25 fully functional ones because of cleaning
Got a proposal for an interview for Imperial Literature... sounds nice...

Continuing work on the Eldar.Late last night I washed everything with orange and Snakebite Leather and today I'm doing the highlights. No drybrushing or other fancy dtrick just plain old layer upon layer of paint to make smooth colour transitions. It takes a lot more work but for the eldar I think it looks so much better. So far I've done the jetbikes, Fire Prisms and Nightspinners. Next is probably the Tempests and the Wave Serpents...
Cheers!

Hi,
Did some more work on the Orlock Heavy today, as well as the Orlock Gang Leader. Just need to add the camouflage, paint the boots and base them.
HERE
I also painted a BB Dwarf Slayer. This guy has been sat on my shelf half-painted for a long, long time, so I'm glad I've finally got around to working on him. I'm quite happy with how it turned out. It's the first time I've bothered to paint the eyes on any mini, although it's not the best photo to see them. I just need to highlight the skin, add the metallics and base it.
HERE
I'll get back to painting Epic soon, I promise.
Cheers, Freshmetal
