Hi!

Well laid out, Vanvlak. You got any more pictures of your stuff?

Primarch

Just more pics of the Dock - I've only 3 models painted so far, 2 are standard builds, and one a scratch - sigh - I never learn... 'll post a pic or two more of the dock later.  :D

Thank you 'V' Still looks good and I still LOVE the weathering, I'm highly tempted to try your 10 point scheme afterall
So, what is the shiny globe in the loading bay? (I take it it's a ball bearing but what I really want to know is what is it's gaming purpose?)

Er - it' not a shiny globe! It's the rear end of part of a minigun for an AC-47 gunship in 1/72 scale painted in ancient days. This old beasties gone to spook :p my model storage years ago, and this is one of the surviving bits. It's cylindrical with a rounded end, painted light gull grey. The joint line of the 2 halves was a mess (yes, I was terrible when I built this old thing...) and I cleaned it up exposing the green plastic beneath. Hence the mottled colours. In the floating dock context, it's a pressure vessel from an Aeronef tanker, in one of the work areas for blasting and painting - hence the appearance.   :p  :alien:
Justiniel, if you try the 10-point program, remember you need the 'terminally clumsy' skill and a precarious spray area.  :80:

Hi all,
new not-quite-an-Aeronef - this time it's a balloon. I was thinking of some different devices for defence, and remembered the barrage balloon idea. Due to the Nefs' slow speed (compared to aeroplanes) and heavy artillery, the balloons wouldn't be too much of a threat. So I came up with a barrage balloon complete with a lightweight recoilless cannon. This here beastie would be tethered, and is seen here in peacetime colours, which would be replaced by a light grey or sky-blue scheme in war. And now, 50% of my Nef models are conversions...great...

Thanks guys - and I'll echo WI's comment on Tas' name for the device - which is bigger than the beastie itself!:D :D
