Hello, I'm back again!
Firstly, some news on the computer front. I've managed to get it going temporarily (yayy!) but it seems to have picked up a nasty virus so I've got to take off all the files I need to keep and reinstall everything (boo!)
Secondly, and more in keeping with this part of the board, mini news: last week, after finishing my Epic Guard INfantry and a Marine Devestator, I managed to paint another devestator, as well as finishing some conversions I'd started AAAGES ago. I added some detailing to the Dreadnought which will be in the Fire Storm army I'm painting, so it doesn't look so much like I just put it together straight out of the package! I also finished a Witch Hunter Inquisitor Lord in Power Armour I started nearly two years ago! :O Finally, I made an objective for my Epic Guard army (a unit defending a lil bunker), and I've started on a secret project which I may well unveil to you in a month or so's time... reason it's secret is it's something which is quite original (well I think it is, anyway!), and I wan't to unveil it when it's finished. It could be special if it goes according to my plans!
Anyway, my apologies for the lack of pics (something to do with my poorly computer), I'll put some up after the weekend.

I return, with more pics! ?Aren't I good to you! ?
Firstly, the Epic Guard Objective I made a couple of weeks back:

I was quite pleased at how sprue barricades looked so I'm planning to make a terrain piece of two large bunkers surrounded by sprue barricades, but this'll be a few months off yet.
Next up is the Witch Hunter Inquisitor I converted. ?I started this sometime ago, and I've returned to it when i had a bit of a Green Stuff session recently. ?I'm reasonably happy with it, but I feel it could be improved. ?Any of you have any ideas?

You may remember the Chaplain conversion I was working on a few weeks back, well I've done some more to it. ?Mainly I bulked out the Crozius to make it look weightier and more like a religious artefact/symbol. ?I've given him a little mohawk (a bit of a motif in my Fire Storm Marine army), but I'm not sure if it suits a grim Chaplain!

Finally, I offer you a picture of my secret project as it currently stands. ?It will be an objective/diorama (not too original in itself), but what I have in mind is something I've not seen elsewhere. ?When I've finished it and post pics I'm sure someone will have seen something like it bofore, however! ?

Finally, thank you to everyone who has given advice here regarding Chimera markings. ?I'll post pics of the four I've painted so far, my finished Fire Storm Marine Devestator squads, and my completely finished, varnished and flocked Epic Guard infantry tomorrow. ?

Great idea with those barricades. I think I have to try that out myself. - just an odd thought: chopoping spures into squares with slightly sloped sides would make excellent dragon's teeth tank traps as well.
Cheers!

It never occured to me to use sprues as dragon's teeth (or even tatrehedron, for that matter). What a great idea! I'll have to remember that so that I don't throw out any more sprues.
Nice objective, firestorm.
