You probaby guessed it from the final paragraph but it turns out that the chaos champion is in fact Horus's ex. (Horus had a few too many drinks, one thing led to another etc.). Realising that they are still deeply in love they go to Isstvan for there honeymoon, unfortunately the government there isn't very openminded so after a particulary cruel remark, Horus virus bombs the planet and sets Legio Mortis to hunt and kill every last survivor with Warhound wolf packs. |
Disturbing...  No wonder the Inquisition don't want you to know the truth...:p
I've been continuing work on the Grotnoughts. Allmost finished now, I only need to make some sort of boilers/engines at the rear of the things + the main gun. They're a bit large for a DC2 Warengine but then again: DC doesn't necessarily reflect the size of a unit but just as much how sturdy they are built.

Hi,
They remind me of the metal Pirahna things in the Transformers movie.  Very nice work and very Orky.
I've been on the hunt for work again this week, so not a lot of painting done, although I have begun to finish the last remaining details and bases on my Crimson Fists for a bit of variety. Hopefully this time I'll get them all completed so I can put them to one side.

The Chick from Hell is almost done, just some of the metallics and touchup remain to be done.
And meanwhile...
Today I downloaded another part of fan translation of Hellsing, and had a read. Been listening to a lot of music by E Nomine all the time.(thud.)
Then I went to Bolter and Chainsword, E Nomine still flowing through my ears and into my mind. (thud.) (thud.)
Slowly but persistently, something began to form within my mind. (THUD.)
Something that made me recall the trailer for the Hellsing anime. (THUD. THUD)
And then, all of the sudden...
(THUD. THUD. THUD.)

Father Alexander Anderson from Hellsing became the source of inspiration for a new Dark Angels conversion. I cannot resist an urge to convert a marine in a similar style .
Maybe it's a good thing afterall.

Nice Grots, W/N ! ?Scary !  ?I'm off work today, hoping to work on my 3 Epic SM Flak dets or maybe my Angor Wat ruin and giant 'shooms ! ?But if the Emperor is with me I might have dinner with my "friend", later today ?! ?Wish me luck ! ? But before that I must go to the VA, Post Office to mail Doug some Bo5A stuff and to the gym for a light ?work out. ?Since training hard only causes my chronic symptoms to incease, I have to keep it light. ?Well the "blitzkrieg" phase of my quest is over for medical reasons (lost about 70 lbs in 7 months), it's now trench and urban warfare ... slow and methodical, with small results, at least for now. ?About 50lbs + to go ... the battle continues. ?Certainly didn't need this condition to slow my progress, but it appears, I did it to myself with excessive over training and stress. I'm not a young man anymore ...  ? ? ? Well enough whining, I've got missions to run !

Very cute WM, love 'em!
Frantic last minute work on TofG here- I finished and based nine infantry stands, and put together 6 Vypers- lots more to do before Friday though!
