Allright: Here's the very first WIP pic of the Grotnoughts. I decided to build 3 as these were the ammount of Ppitslave werapons I had available. I'm not sure how this fits with the army list but who cares...
I've just been building up the rough shape. I still need to add feet and lots of armourplating and detail such as boilers, hatches, guns and stuff. The basic idea was to create an "Iron Squig" as I've allways loved the old WHFB squig models (back from the day when Orks were more "cartoonish" and fun.

Getting into a working mood today! - I've revamped 4 cruisers and a Desolator I got in my Chaos BFG trade a couple of weeks ago- just a new base for the BB and a bit of inking has brought them into line with my newer 'look' for the Chaos fleet. I also assembled the Repulsive for TofG.
While I had the Greenstuff out, I decided to finish off the Nurgle Altar I started for the last Epic Construction Workshop; hope you don't mind having a very late submission Iain!
(Sorry for the poor picture too!) -The model is made up of flying base bottom for the base, with tentacle parts from an old 28mm Nurgle model stuck on. Then I put a big blob of Plasticine in the middle of this, and added a piece of tree bark on top for the actual altar. I put an old Epic Chaos champion model on top of this, then used Greenstuff to sculpt on some Nurgly detail and blend all the elements together.
It is currently drying under my desk lamp, and I will paint it a little later and get you some pictures!

..bit of a quiet weekend on the boards it seems!
Well- didn't quite paint it, but here is a much better pic after it dried and I added some sand to the base.

Well, the 4 days of break are over...
First and foremost - I present thee REALM OF THE HORSEMAN - MARK TWO! Yes, I used frames... they aren't nessecarily a bad thing, as you can see, especially when they are utilised to their full potential. I'm sure some of the things there can be done in a better way - but that later. Right now, the site has been made in a triple-compatibility. The sheer amount of effort scares the hell out of me, even now that I'm through. You see, each page of content there is not in three, nor in two but only in a single version. Yup, even though the main page looks differently in the Mark II then in Mark I, both are loaded from the same HTML document. JavaScript helped in that alot. Same goes for all the other pages. In addition to that, I've also added an extra bit of effort (though I doubt it will ever really find use) to make the site compatibile with non-JavaScript browsers.
Through the rest of that time, I have completed Arcanum with my first character, Jehanna the elven mage. Was fun, even despite horrible amount of ingame bugs I had to bear. This version is 1.0.7.0 polish version and for some freak reason is incompatibile with standard 1.0.7.4 patch for polish version - but I already went to the boards of the magazine that had it as their cover CD and presented them with a portion of consumer rights and a definite ultimatum (publish the patch before folk will begin to sue you).
Went on to Bloodrayne modding, done a few things about the first level again - but that's not anywhere near what I intend to do (written all this down - huuuge "to do" list)
Then I finally managed to install Dawn of War demo version on my hardware. And whoa, a mighty game it is. I love the Space Hulk reference on the beginning of the mission too ("Cleanse this area" spoken in a strikingly recognizable voice...).
Some company began selling an educational series with parts of an anatomic model included... altough I don't give a damn about the low-level anatomic knowledge in the series, the first issue had a nearly complete skull. Altough in bad plastic and not 100% correct, it will be an interesting way of psychological warfare - especially _painted_... and the second issue will have the rest of the skull too.
Began missing Chaos Gate - again. Guess I'll have to take appropriate measures to get it working...
Oh, and finally got to painting that new Chick from Hell... she looks marvellous.

Quote (Warmaster Nice @ 27 2005 Mar.,16:41) | Tom: Looking forward to reading the fiction. I was kind of wondering what happens after all the Daemon Chopping madness | You probaby guessed it from the final paragraph but it turns out that the chaos champion is in fact Horus's ex. (Horus had a few too many drinks, one thing led to another etc.). Realising that they are still deeply in love they go to Isstvan for there honeymoon, unfortunately the government there isn't very openminded so after a particulary cruel remark, Horus virus bombs the planet and sets Legio Mortis to hunt and kill every last survivor with Warhound wolf packs.
Next issue is coming soon , the fiction may or may not resemble the above synopsis .
