Hmm.. I think I have several of those laying around.
Very practical.

Yep I almost always dab the brush on a pallette first to make sure I get the right amount of paint on the brush. For red I start with either scab red or dark flesh, then do final highlights with red/yellow mix. Using inks I mix the water and ink on a pallette, just a little at a time.

Hi,
I'll leave the tips and advice to those with a more professional approach to painting than me. If you feel comfortable painting in a certain way and are happy with the outcome, its all good.
Anyway, back on topic, I managed to finish the final four Blood Axe Boyz, the Nobz and all 8 battlewagons. Still the grotz to finish, but they should be done by tomorrow. Pics asap.
BTW: I've decided from now on to base all of my small vehicles on 2 pence pieces. If my Epic budget is gonna be reduced, I can't afford to spend 50p for every 3 Warmaster bases (Why did they take away the big bags of 'em?), when I could "spend" the same money on 25 bases.
Cheers, Freshmetal

Good philosophy. I'm not seeking to be a professional nor win contests, but producing simple, clean paint jobs with simple techniques. With several of the tips given, I think I will achieve that goal in short order and produce nicely painted models.
In any case it will be an order of magnitud above my previous attitude towards painting.
