Whew! Just put the finishing touches to the 10.000 point battlereport for Incoming! It sure was a lot of work but I think the result was well worth it. ...I hope you'll like it :;):
I've also been doing a bit of conversion work on my BaneLord Titan. Lots of Greenstuff sculpting and adding some extra bitz. I'll post a few piccies once its been painted. I also painted up my Hellfore Heavy Cruiser and snapped a few pics for GothiComps.

Cheers! :)

I repaired my new Ramillies last night, gave it a new base, and retouched the paint chips- looks ace and is good as new now. :)
I also rebased one of the Despoilers, although it still neeeds a little work before it is finished...

Worked on my Eldar Templates/TO&Es, with the release of Swordwind. Have to make a few more War Host with the F/W Eldar and new E:A Eldar models. Looked over my SM Revenent, E40K Revenent and Phantom Titans !  SIB !

Based 4 more Epic Ork vehicles, and attempted to get Vallejo MEdiuM Crackle to work, to no success.

Finally got myself back up, running and, naturally, more insane then ever.

-Finished reading "Crystal Singer" after, like, 3 or so weeks
-Red whole "Deathworld II" by Harry Harrison
-Advanced further with work on my Winamp skin. DiGiT (temporary name) is looking good so far, and entire main window is done. I think the looks of Equalizer could use a lil work, though.
-Did a banner for Realm of the Horseman. Not sure yet if it's really good though, so I attached it to this message and would like your opinion.

Oh, and just as a side note - here is the concept set of markings for Order of the Emperor's Wrath. I wonder what is your opinion...

Like the banner T5H, though I would be tempted to up the size of the text a little, very matrix :D
The markings are interesting too, are they for your sisters?

Nice work everybody, keep 'em coming....

Spent (far too little) time painting this weekend, the CotYK mostly with parts of the imperator tidied up, will see what i can do in getting the camera again.

Yep. Thought that they'll need some markings for squads and characters, to help differentiate them.

Cool

What the roll call so far? Are we talking battlewagons or gunwagons.

What on earth is "Vallejo MEdiuM Crackle"?

Cheers

James

Did a bit more work on Ork warband. Having spray painted undercoat on Thursday, added textured paint for basing yesterday.

Had intended to get more painting done over weekend. But stayed out on Friday night till 3am and then had to work full day on Saturday. Too tired yesterday to do any fine detailed painting. Planning on getting some momentum going over Easter weekend.

Cheers

James

Well, thanks to the Triples show, I managed to pick up a few bits and pieces for the Orks - as well as a copy of 1st Ed Space MArine - annoyingly, missing the books, though it did have the E:40k rulebooks in it, for some reason.

Acquisitions to be detailed in the appropriate thread, though I did get hold of an Eldar Fire Gale Knight.

Vallejo Medium Crackle is a paint from their "Model Color" range, which is *meant* to provide a marble-like finish when you use it. Unfortunately, I've yet to work out how to get it to work.

The banner is cool, but I would be tempted to make it a standard size... otherwise people will keep using text links instead of picture links.

Hi,

Back to painting my Orks after a brief side into painting that Necro ganger and some BB minis. Under the brush today have been 3 Fighta Bommaz, an Evil Sunz Blitz Brigade (including a load of converted vehicles), two Goff Gunfortresses, all 4 Stormboyz Hordes (just undercoated and basecoated to make them stand out), and the Dethskull Stompa mob (which I am just going to paint in metallics with some generic Ork glyphs so that they can make up the numbers in other Stompamobs without looking too out of place).

When those are all done, I have only a small box left to paint in order to get the entire Ork horde up to a gaming standard. Luckily I ordered the Simpsons season 5 dvds which should be here tomorrow and provide me with some distraction through all the drybrushing I have to do next. Well, I hope so.

Cheers,
Freshmetal
