Played this one recently, a mighty good RPG it is. I'm going to try again with some different character sooner or later...

I got a great big box of stuff from Mail Order today. I've cleaned up some Eldar stuff and assembled a Phantom Titan in a nice dynamic pose. I also got the Dire Avanger/Fire Dragons blister. you get 4 stands worth of each + 2 Fire Dragon Exarchs and 2 Dire Avanger Exarchs. Nice models!
I've also assembled a Retribution Battleship for BFG and converted a nice Hellfire Heavy Cruiser for my Chaos fleet. I think I might enter the Hellfire in GothiComp if I manage to get it painted in time.
In the box was also various bitz which will be turned into a couple of Chaos Titans and some Grotnoughts for the OGBM list.
Cheers!

Hi,
Just finished a game of BB, managing a 2-1 win with my High Elves against my friend Chris' Orcs. Dice were really against both of us in the second half, so it was lucky I got the winning touchdown at all. Still think BB is my favourite GW game. When you have a fun game (even if the dice are awful), it really cheers you up.
Other than that, this afternoon I based the stompas and gargant, finishing them. Began to detail the ES Blitz brigade and two Goff Gunfortresses. The rather large collection of unpainted Orks I had a month or two ago is very quickly shrinking which is pleasing. I still have a lot of infantry to do, some more KOS', battlewagons, oddboyz and FBs, so I can't see me finishing anytime soon though.
Planning on sorting out my Necromunda stuff too! I'm my own worst enemy sometimes!
Cheers, Freshmetal

Hehe thanks. Well it's probably not going to be a particularly fair ship from a rules perspective but perhaps it could be used as an objective or something. I imagine it as sort of an Attack craft re-supply ship. Convoys containing one or two of these ships are sent to resupply the carriers of battlefleets operating far from a Forge World which would normally replace losses.
Cheers!

Hi,
Great stuff WMN, I love the imagery of all those launch bays. My BFG stuff has just kinda sat on my shelf since I finished painting what came with the box.
I've spent today painting a test piece for my next project, a Necromunda Orlock gang! Woohoo! I found an old IG catachan-type guy (who I think came with an old Leman Russ), and thought he looked kinda cool so converted his pose a bit and slopped some paint on him. I've been musing over ideas for the gang as a whole and decided I wanted them to be urban militia/gun-nut types (like that guy in Tremors with all the guns who lives in a bunker ), so plan to give them camouflage, etc.
This guy is about half-way done, still need to highlight the skin and the boots, paint his hair and the skull on the floor, decide on what to do with the back of the jacket, decide what colour to paint the lasgun (and then paint it) and paint the bandana and the metallics on the boots.
Any suggestions for what colour to paint the lasgun would be appreciated, I just can't choose. Enjoy!
Orlock Ganger
Cheers, Freshmetal

My defaults are black or gun metal, with details in which ever you don't choose. Nice model, nice paintjob FreshMetal

Yep, he is an old Catachan tank rider; and looks good, well done.
Black with a drybrush of boltgun metal is good, you could try hazard stripes which I like for some of my Necro weapons; it looks striking and fits with the industrial theme of the models.
