Finished my E40K S/Goths and starting on my E40K Pulsa Rokkits & Krewz... ? ?
And just got the new issue of W/D 294. Lots of neat modeling stuff and even pics of the new E:A releases for the US in July. Same pics as on the web site. ?
I'll be preordering those as soon as I get my June preorder... in a few days I hope...

Besides from the Krieg units described in my "Secret Project" diary I've been duing a few quick objective for Epic. First a missile silo.

Next up a radar station. A few more specialiized bits here and a bit more work with the sandbags and razor wire but still done in less than an hour.

And finally a Defence Laser installation. The fastest model of them all, this one was nothing but a grab into the old bits box. I've grown really fond of using Titan bases for objectives.. The size just seems perfect: there's enough room to add some details but the piece is still small enough to fit most places on your regular battlefield.
Cheers!

Hi!
The Defense laser installation rocks. How you make it?

The main building is a cart from a model railroad train. The laser itself is made from two mk1 stormblade barrels with a row of paper clips on top. It is housed in a turret bit from some tank kit. The radar thingy is made out of aircraft landing gear a,d finally the round power generator is a knob from an old car stereo. Like I said just the usual weird stuff you seem to collect in a well stuffed bits box.
Cheers!

I always think it is fun to see the "finished" model first then read what made it up. This is some great work.
I have to admit that I like the silo. Simple and yet perfect.
Good Job.

Great looking objectives. But are you saying that you have CANNIBALISED TWO MK1 STORMBLADES?? Do you have any idea how hard they are to find?? I'll have you burned at a stake as a heretic. To repent send all your MK1 superheavies to me and there might just be a chance to save your soul.
