Great Dwarves Tuff, well done!
Last night I was offered a friend's BFG collection (he's buying FW stuff for his IG including a Baneblade), now, what do you think of this? ;
1x Ramillies -nicely painted by me (see Warp Rift cover). 6x FW defence platforms - one painted by me, the rest unpainted. 2x Despoiler Chaos BB - one painted by me quite well, th other in basic colours; both are slightly damaged. 9x Chaos Escorts - 3 of each in basic colours. 11x Chaos cruisers - 4 nicely painted by me, the rest basic or not very well done, some are damaged or badly assembled. I'm looking at ?55 - ?65 for the lot, which seems quite a good deal- what do you reckon?

Glue supply is back to normal.
I had a massive hyperglycemy yesterday, which ended with me having to stay up to 1 AM. So I went for painting. Heavy Bolter done, bit-Marine done as well. The HB ended up rather well, and the final looks of the bit-Marine is quite awesome considering what he is made of.
Decided to trash the old Multi-Melta from the speeder (gosh, that paintjob was THICK _and_ UGLY) and went to assemble a new one from the parts in the Attack Bike kit. Needs a little GS before painting.
Next in the schedule is the speeder and its gunner plus the Emperor's Champion (yesterday I almost finished his tabard too, just a little fix needed).

Hi,
Nice Thorin there Tuff. After seeing the contents of the Bo5A boxset in Fanatic 9, I don't envy you (or anyone) who is going to paint all of the minis, The repetition would slaughter me. A little diversity in the forces would've done a lot to make it a more attractive set.
Cheers, Freshmetal

looks good, Storms, I'd go for it; the lower price would be nice, but I'd guess even the higher end of the range is worthwhile. ?
PS - great job on good old Thorin, Tuffskull - not to mention Fili and Kili, who I'd guess would be the other pair.

I decided it was finally time to work on my Daemon Engines of Khorne. They've been basecoated and shaded a dark brass colour for a while but still needs all the detail. I've started with the Lord of Battles... boy that's a lot of skulls to paint I'll probably have a pic of him ready by tonight so stay tuned...
Cheers!

...Presenting in all it's daemonic glory: The Khorne Lord of Battles. ...And the less glorious but still malefic Cannon of Khrone in the background.
While trimming a few details on the LOB I acidentially cut myself with my hobby knife.Annoying but also somehow appropriate... Blood for the Blood God...
Cheers!

Its not quite modelling / painting, but I've just done something which I think may change the way I work somewhat.
I've just got myself a copy of Photoshop.
I know, I know.... I'm miles behind the rest of the world, but my Morals: Money ratio was all out of sync & I couldnt afford the real thing, but didnt want a dodgey copy. Well, One of those attributes has been corrected at long last
I can see that its going to have me going through every image on my site making adjustments....
I'll never "touch up" my images as such - I still have some morals! - but I will adjust the colour levels so they give an accurate representationof the figure. This is less of an issue with my new camera, but for photos taken with the old one, it can make quite a difference!
I've just improved the Studio Swordwind army photos, an area that was greatly in need and will include all the re-balanced photos with my next update! From: to:
with one click - I love this program!
I havent even started playingwiththe other settings yet....

Stunning, Tuff, or rather, stunninger than ever! And nice work Warmaster - never knew you were that dedicated though - and hope your skull is at least ok - you know the old rag, blood for the blood god, skulls for the throne of Khorne...now if it were a Slaaneshi war engine, what would it have got you doing, eh?

You guys are incredible. How do you manage that incredible amount of precision? I get wavy lines as soon as I attempt even the most basic blacklining techinque....
