Hi!

Speaking of battle sisters, I heard they were being done for epic.

Anyone knows whose doing them and when we can expect them?

Hi!

Thanks freshmetal, I knew I saw it somewhere.

I might have misunderstood something but that's just the Playtest schedule IIRC ???  I'm afraid the SOB are at the very least as far away as the Necrons :(  ...I could be wrong though...

Cheers! :)

Hi,

That is the playtest schedule, sorry. But at least there's hope. :)

I expect FW would tackle them before then anyway.

Cheers,
Freshmetal

You are not wrong, that is a playtest schedule and does not reflect any kind of assurance of minis.

And here I was thinking the Sisters minis might see the light of day.  :L

You got me all excited, oh well.

I too am jumping up and down in anticipation, in fact I can't wait and am (slowly) converting a SOB force.

Hi,

Rather disappointed today after finding out that my local GW is no longer selling Warmaster Bases (bags or sprues) AT ALL! Yet you can get a bag of 15 Titan bases there no problem. It's either another ploy (sp?) by GW to take more of my money by selling them 3 for 50p through the Online store, or they just aren't selling.
Maybe a pleasant email in the direction of JJ might help the situation.

So with very few bases for the line of vehicles I have ready to paint, it's time to paint so more infantry :{ and make some objective markers. Oh well.

Cheers,
Freshmetal

I've also found it frustratingly difficult to get ANY sort of Epic base, hence I've some companies on squares and some on rectangles, very few of my vehicles are based.

Aren't the Epic bases available at the online store? I've heard that they are a bit pricey though. It was nice when GWUS was selling archive stuff. They allways threw in more bases than you needed for free if you "forgot" to order them with the plastic infantry spures.  :;):

I've been basing upp the two Tactical reserve Companies today. Since I don't have enough Devastator models to go arround I plan to add a piece of plastic rod on their backs representing a bazooka type missile weapon. I'll leave it so that it looks as though it is carried in a strap over the shoulder. A very simple conversion which should be easy to do on the 20 or so marines involved.

I was a bit curious how it all looked on the table so I cleared up my workbench and placed all the minis on there. Quite impressive if I may say so myself. Still much to paint but at least it is more than 50% done.

...Oh and: Damn you Primarch for sowing this nasty seed of megalonamia within me! You are an evil evil man!  :p  :;):  :D

Cheers!
