Did not feel like doing any sculpting yesterday... today I wanted to get up early to do something finally, but got up late, and barely managed to get on the bus on time.
On that weekend I SWEAR I will try to get some serious relax and cut loose. 2 liters of Diet Coke and computer games or reading books for 12 hours a day. This usually helps...

Came 20th (out of 23.. ) in WH40K national tournament, down from 6th last time; 13th out of 23 in WHFB (up from 21st last time). Ugh! L4, I selected a very shooty SM army with loads of missile launchers, heavy bolters, storm bolters, bolters, lascannons, rockets, and a multi-melta. In one terrible game against the Speed Freaks I only managed to kill 1 boy, 1 bike and 1 Trukk with shooting in all the game ...including at least two (three for some units) shooting turns......More of the same later against Berzerkers - with many on foot! Really ugh shooting and incredible armour saves by my opponent.
And PLEASE don't mention chariots to me......
Anyway - back from the intense tournament painting, and now it's house painting - and my postgrad - and I'll be away next week at a conference on lascannons in Germany. And then - well, competition entry time, I hope.

Sigh - after the umpteenth time I said I'd never enter with Chaos warriors..I did it again. Undivided, mainly. And heavily unbalanced because I didn't want to mess about with Plaguebearers again, and didn't finish painting two new units as I'd previously been trying (unsuccessfully) to complete a zombie army, and left the change for too late. Nice cat, admiral! I like old Boots too.

Quote (Legion 4 @ 14 2004 Sep.,07:51) | Sorry to hear that "V", just proves my point about the 40K rules ! ?They are all about close combat ! ? ? | Yep, we always used to say 40k was just fantacy with chain swords.
