The Harridan is rather cool, but expensive for what it is, and the Eldar BFG thing looks good. I got myself a ticket for the FW seminar at Games Day, so I hope to get some pics of WIP Epic and BFG stuff.
All the new Epic is good, but part of me still wants more FW IG stuff! The new "pattern" warhound would be another good Epic model I think...
Cheers
Chris

I think the next Epic IG F/W model should be the Valkryie. They don't need another version of the Leman Russ (3), Chimera (3), Shadowsword (3), Baneblade (2), etc., etc., ... Especially with so many other armies remaining untouched. But we'll see ...

Hi!
I'd kill for some FW chaos titan variants, there's so much room to create cool stuff under that topic.
One can only dream...

Given the order armies will be released I would suggest that IG and Orks will get the lion's share initially

Hi!
Well..at least orks will be getting some good stuff, I could use some "orky" terrain pieces.
Too bad they could concentrate on something other than imperials, it gets tiring.

W/ respect to the newsletter...
Weren't the Grey Knights founded after the Heresy? I know they weren't one of the original 20, and I seem to recall they were founded because Imperial forces kept going insane whenever they fought chaos daemons during the Heresy.
In which case a pre-heresy GK dread would be sort of silly, wouldn't it?

Hmmm... I seem to remember Grey Knights in the original fluff somewhere ? The RT book or Astronomicom maybe ? Of course G/W always rewrites their our "history" ... very Orwellian ...

Hi!
Legion4 you are correct, they were in the original RT era books, in the compendium to be exact. But I'm not sure if they mentioned back then exactly when they were founded.
It makes sense that they are "post-heresy" since thats when the imperium really got "heresy-phobic".

Hmm.. the Grey Knights were the only Chapter from the 111th founding I think (maybe the 666th?) ... could be wrong, but I'm positive they were not part of the first founding...
Really I guess the new dreds should just be called 'older pattern' perhaps...

You were told the Grey Knights were founded after the Heresy...
You were told that the Grey Knights were the 666th founding...
You were told that a Mars a day would help you work, rest and play...
Everything you have been told is a lie!
(well GW do do that kind of thing)

They do do that often, don't they?
I dont think earlier and later fluff on them really contridict each other, its that later fluff is clearer on their origins as opposed to the mention "in passing" of earlier stuff.
The grey knights would have not existed before the Heresy since the main force behind many of these organizations was the fact that chaos could corrupt and cause so much damage.
A more interesting question is that does the Inquisition predate the Heresy?
I'm not sure...

I'm not sure... | I'm not sure either
however the XenoHunters would have been around ever since Humanity's first contact with aliens, which could imply that DaemonHunters (Inquisition) have been around some time as well.
I quite like the idea that the Inquisition has been round for some time and that Chaos was always a worry for Humanity and it only really became apparent in the Heresy.
