A review with me is up on Imperial Literature. Exams will be over in two weeks - but I need to complete all the Pascal stuff within next few days.
Began converting a plastic Battlemaster from 3rd edition Battletech box to a more static pose. All the time cursing on the inadequate plastic it was cast in. Progressed nicely, now GS is needed, but I think I will make a mould of the last remaining set and then re-cast the things in _proper_ plastic so that they will convert easier.

Sigh - so much for my Chainmail figures Abysmal Maw - here's what happened to it. The text on the pic reads 'Chaos Defiler'.

Nothing like a touch of manga or anime! That should also have had a 'ta-da-dum!' sound to go, or a weird Anime squoingshhh! noise, and loads of flashing stuff.
Anyway, the text does not, as any Japanese reader could tell you, say 'Chaos Defiler'. Anyone who can interpret it wins a - er - an hoourable mention
Here's the unadulterated pic. This was taken in artificial light. I have a new photo studio it seems!

Here's the twin linked cannon - stolen off a plastic Land Raider, which has, of course, been converted. The battlecannon in the previous pic came off a plastic Knight Paladin, with most of the barrel cut off. The wheel in the middle is a plastic bevel wheel with two different diamter saved from - er - can't remember!

Tail end. GW wouldn't be happy with this one, of course.... The chainmail Abysmal Maw comes in two halves, which makes the conversion easy. The alternative requires: 1 - WHFB Squig. 2 - Squig splitter.
The Chainmail Maw has both feet on the ground; I modelled mine in rampage mode.
And now - the turretless Landraiders (yes, I have 2 of these... Hula had already nabbed another turret) - and a long overdue Warlord; followed by Deffsta, I hope.

Cool model - what are you using it as Vanvlak? Defiler or Deathwheel?

Thanks guys. I'm pleased with it too (note the application of serious overphotography) ? Markconz, you've hit a slight problem I had - Defiler or Deathwheel? In the end, I called it a Defiler - My idea of a Deathwheel uses much larger circular locomotive devices (didn't want to use 'wheel' too many times in a sentence..apologies, not had coffee yet). ?

Now that is certainly bizarre Trying to decide if it fits in with Chaos or 'Nids, hmmmmm, it does look as if a Landraider has developed a serious case of Demon bellyache Nice one Vanvlak

Am busy being terribly unsuccessful in my current postgrad experiments; and taking photos - my To6G pics have finally been posted in my T06g thread. Everything else has been ignored today.

Been working a bit on the centrepiece of my Cityfight terrain. Basically I've just been grinding up seashells and slopping it all over the board. This piece is supposed to be the centre of the city with a canal which can be attatched to my river system. The roads and built up areas are made so that they connnect to the rest of my cityfight grid seamlessly.
Cheers!
