Here's what's on my workbench:
Hmmm.... I've finally gotten off my bottom and started painting again. Thanks for the helpful nags, Primarch and Jimbo. Here's what's on the bench:
============================
- E-A Ork Army: The composition has changed quite a few times as the rules have changed. At one time, it was going to be armor heavy (lots of cool Stompas that I posted photos of before) with a few Boyz Mobz mechanized in BattleFortresses, but now, who knows. The E-A Ork projects have made good progress and is maybe 65% - 85% complete with most models at an almost finished level of painting and construction.
- I'm making some more infantry stands. I NEED LOTZ O'GROTZ!
- I also converted three Ork Bommas (not yet painted) for the army, but these were gone last time I checked the E-A Ork army lists. They broke a little in transport so now they need repair. I primed them and have a base coat on them now.
- I'm dying to convert some more Stompas since they're really fun to convert.
- I also want to make the plastic converted battlewagons (mix of the two plastic battlewagons).
- There's always the SupaStompa conversions as well. I have four SupaStompa Hulks now on the bench awaiting further conversion.
- I made some SupaGunz conversions as well. I'm waiting to get a little steel paper and some good railing to finish the conversions.
- I planned some BattleFortress conversions, but haven't gotten around to them yet. Now that the Battlefortress has lost all the cool options it had before, I'm a little less encouraged to make this conversion. I started working on some Battlefortress "mixes" using pieces from the old and new BFs as well as one with a custom huge boiler!
- I also made a Great and Regular Gargant with 20mm W.W.II tank hull bodies and big hulls. I'm reworking these hulks with bitz from 25mm 40k Tin Kanz and Dreadnoughtz.
========================
- E-A IG Army: I haven't really started this one yet although I have some proxies to use as Valkyries and want to make an Ogryn Auxilia unit. I really like the CAV Fenris Flyer as a Valkyrie.
- I made some proxie Space Marines (from Alternative Armies 6mm figures), but that's as far as I've gotten. I have now taken photos of these and plan to rpime them in the next few days.
- I would really like to make some of the militia and planetary guard including hive gangers. I want to use a mix of chaos cultists and Catachans to make my hive gangers distinctive. I started planning the figure mixes for these and how many stands I'll need.
- I'm looking forward to making the new Planetary Guard pieces like the artillary unit and others.
- I'm still trying to figure out how to make a Defender.
- I'm planning to build the 85mm and 203mm PDF artillary pieces using proxies. I'm still thinking of how to exactly do this.
- I have plans to convert some custom Rapiers for the milita.
==============================
- Terrain: I still have some Mars Forgeworld stuff to finish including an Adeptus Mechanicus Temple and a cool factory building.
- Terrain: I'm hoping to slap together some more ruins. I've been dieing to get to them.
- Necron BFG fleet: This is bagged and ready to go when the next BFG campaign crops up.
==============================
25mm Russian Napoleonics: My friends won't do it in 6mm so one of them made me a deal. For every two I paint, he gets one and I get one. It feels odd working in 25mm but, que sera, sera!
I started the planning for several Russian Napoleonic units including Tarnopol and Smolenk. I have no idea what to do with my cavalry. I also have two flags that I have no idea if they were even in the Russian army of 1812!
==============================
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Did some more converting last night- I started an Epic Seer Council for my Eldar... I used 3 of the 'Warlock' figures with swords, and 2 'Farseer' figures with Singing spears, as this mirrors my 40k stuff very nicely...
I left one of each model as it was, and modified a farseer and two warlocks quite a lot- For the Farseer, I sliced off his singing spear arm and with a bit of reshaping, reattached it so he is holding it higher up and pointing it forwards, and changed the other arm so he is shooting fowards...
For the first warlock, I swapped the witchblade arm round, so he seems to be leaning on it, with the point in the ground, and for his other (right) hand I dabbed a bit of PVA on it, and put a small piece of cotton wool on it, to represent "eldritch fire" ...or something......
I've still got to finish the last warlock, but I was very pleased with how it has all turned out so far..

Lol, I have to agree with you Dafrca, but having an ancient PC, no digicam and no webspace doesn't help me, I'd love to show off my minis; hopefully I will get a nice new digicam soon with money from my summer job (which I actually started today... woo and yay.... ) ...would anyone here be kind enough to host a few pics for me if and when that time comes...?

You know the stupid thing - I've been fiddling so much lately with the AoFK / M'Brush sites, I'd temporarily forgotten my workbench space
Looks like we've got ya covered at any rate, stormseer!

I just finished making the following for my Imperial Guard:
- x24 stands of Scotia sci-fi proxy infantry - x12 stands of Scotia sci-fi proxy heavy weapons infantry - x4 special command stands with a mix of figures
I'm not sure who they are going to be except they're definitely not Hive Gangers (maybe Milita).
I'm really happy with the command stands and might try to take a photo tomorrow since I'll be in my sister's neighborhood.
Anyone interested in seeing photos?
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.
P.S. I hope to convert some custom Rapiers tomorrow.

I went by my sister's place, but her husband, the contractor, took the digital camera to a work site so I didn't get photos yet of the new infantry I have been building for the IG.
I did however get some more phots that I took before of some more Eldar and SM stuff. I'll send them in awhile if noone objects.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Storm-Seer,
Are the SMs your new Silver Skulls that you were talking about, Maksim? - I think it was you anyway.... ? |
Those red and silver SMs aren't anyone in particular. They were painted as a generic SM force for my Mars Forgeworld terrain.
Nice stuff anyway.... |
Thanks for the compliment.
Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.
