I'm coming down to the end of my conversion efforts on the venerable/ironclad dread I've been working on for the past several weeks. With any luck this will be finished this weekend and I'll be moving back to more vehicles for Cal.

Looks cool  Will you be adding some rounded armor to the shoulders to match the rest of the model?

Yeah I'm planning on doing that, but the arms aren't the final load out for the model and are by far the easiest bit to work on so I've left them alone for now while I decided whether to round the front edge to match the shoulder armor or the outer edge to make him less blocky from the front.

I'm working on hanging Christmas lights

Sadly, I have a recently received FOW paratropper company sitting on my bench being neglected and an armor company en route.

And the final update for now, I've rounded out the shoulder to match the torso armor. I may go back and ad a riveted plate or trim to it but I kind of like the subdued look on the arms. I've also put in another AOBR dread to compare where it started to how it looks now. I'm going to put this aside for the time being to think about color scheme and work up some commissioned epic marine vehicles before looking it over again in a week or so and deciding if the arms are done and doing some final gap filling on the legs. However I have plenty of time to debate the arms since they will be the last bits I paint on the model.

Hi All,

I have been mostly working on 28mm samurai, Mongols, and Saracens lately...

I feel like painting some 6mm sci-fi though...

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

No modeling, but I do have a dog house WIP.  I have the the base and walls all framed out; deck boards down on the floor; exterior walls are up; and rafters are in place.  I had to stop due to rain today but I have the insulation ready for the walls, which will also be sheet rocked. Then I can finish the feline loft and complete the roof.  It is basically built just like a mini-house save the water, electricity.  Pics later!

Working on this:

Well, a german army without a tiger isn't a german army, right?

And you always need more Panzer IV.

The first 1500 pts of my Orcs got finished.

Including some "Epic" miniatures.

Then I got back onto Skaven which has now reached 500 models and who knows how many points.
