Excellent stuff all round guys, I LOVE this thread!  :D

I needed something big to fight trolls in WotR games and an Ent seemed the right size!
I got this Tree Giant from Majestic Bear Miniatures, a company with a growing range of minis from the UK (mostly LotR themed).

Glorfindel is there for scale. The Ent is about 110mm tall, on a 60mm base.

There's a few more photos HERE.

Grand job Onyx, I think I prefer it to GW's Ents.
And Glorfindel's helmet looks brilliant - ok, so does the rest of the chap, but this in particular looks great.

Ooh. I see my all time favourite tank in there...

Brummbar?  :vD

That's Sturmtigers not brummbars. I don't even know when I'll play them due to the rules and the price ingame, but well, I like them :p

Toying with some ideas for jazzing up my gaming board.  Lots of ideas, not a lot of room :(

This Ent is really impressive indeed. The wood effect is very realistic.

Finished up re-basing all my US fleets.  I used a bit too much white but it still turned out good.  I'm working on some sea creatures now!

I still need to paint up 2 Human Troop ships, 2 Dwarf cruisers and 3 Dwarf frigates.

And now for something completely different: the art of restoration, as applied to a second hand Tau 40K model purchased from Sheffield, now a Devilfish gunship.

This one has been sitting on my to-do list since ReaperCon 2006.  Finally got around to painting it as a test for the rest of the squad that I recently received.  I think I'm going to swap the Reaper Master Series Paint (MSP) Gunmetal Blue for a midnight blue on the others though. Base coats were Reaper Pro Paint Uniform Brown, Yellow Olive, and Desert Tan, each moderately highlighted (I wanted a very subdued look), and washed with everyone's favorite...MSP Brown Liner.
