I've got 117 of those guys to paint...

Here are the first 5 ones:

I've tested a quite fast & easy schemes considering the size of the army.

They will go with my previous camo painted GI tanks.
I'm making a WWII german themed GI army, the Elite will be painted with pea dots like SS, and all the regular troopers will be painted grey.
Next tanks will be with 3 tone camo.

nope...i'd noticed that too...:-S

Are they all the old metal GW figures?

I always end up thinking that the steel legion and deathkorps figures might as well be one and the same really; again; am i missing something?

Yes, they're all GW metal.

Well, the krieg have different helmets, longer coat and a lot more details.
And better sculpt & proportion (no the "big head tiny arms" syndrom).
But yes I think they will fit well together, I've bought a krieg HQ, some krieg cavalry and krieg commissars. I think my vet will be krieg grenadiers.

They look great.  5 down and 117 to go?

Thanks.
112 now :D

It's referred to as the "Stab Him In the Face". Like a curtsy, only more practical.

Yes, a very difficult manouevre, many have lost their fingers trying this move

Very nicely done Napalm, don't envy you on the amount of them though.

Of course.
My previously painted tanks will be for this army (the leman russ hunter destroyer, the other leman russ & the chimera).
Next one will be painted german style (3 tones 1944 camo). I'm thinking about painting the Elites (Karskins & stormtroopers) in Oak Leaves & pea dots camo pattern to have 40k german themed army, with the core troopers grey like this.
Got 3 sentinels, 1 walkyrie, 3 hellhounds, 1 minotaur, 1 baneblade to go :p

Will test it in a few days on a sentinel squad.

Hard as nails clearly, I reckon everyone else turns on the power sword after getting it out of the scabbard :)
