I have uploaded a pic of my workspace to my briefcase. As a bonus you can see on the table the thing I'm at present working on.

Why of course; haven't you ever heard of the Goliath Mega T-34? Seriously, the Cannons are the latest project as I am doing a Goliath battery.
The T-34 book I borrowed from a friend of mine as I am converting a T-44 from several parts taken from the discard pile. It has nothing to do with the short guys.

Well, here's my place of work ? :
Note my main paints are kept in carry cases for when I paint on the move & do demos here & there. However, I currently work from around 250 pots in total, so I also keep some inthe Mega Paint set, on the desk & generally everywhere
My gaming table, which has only ever had about 3 (non AofK playtests) games played on it & spends most of the time as a workbench extension:

And finally, my invaluable filing units. Full of commission work, miniatures for me, more paint & generally theonly things that keep this place anywhere near operationally organised!
Note the blue thing in the corner is my bed........ this is my actual room..... Thankfully My GF has gotten used to it .....

Hi!
You actually keep you paints in a foam case?
You must really love your paints!

Hmmm... it does seem a little obsessive doesnt it... ?
Its more the point that using a carry case keeps them organised & well ordered especially if I'm painting on the move ?rather than the intent being to have them foam padded! It saves a lot of time & hassle when trying to find any particular shade (to the point where I usually dont look but get the right pot...)
You don't sit on that white box do you Tuff? ...looks a little bad for the back... |
Unfortunately so at the moment. I broke my nice comfy chair a while back & havent found time or ?? to replace it yet. As for the back issue, I thought the same but when I saw my physio whilst I was ill, she said my posture has actually improved!?! It is ?forcing me to sit upright rather than slouching in a big chair & I've trained myself so every time I think how uncomfortable my backside is, I ignore it, but straighten my spine......
Anyway, back on Topic - where's everyone elses workbench? With the exception of my above OT spine waffle, This thread is quite strangely interesting.....
