Hi everyone,
Peter brought it up on another thread and I thought I'd field the question:
What does Tau architecture look like and how can I make some?
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Go to the OLD CROW site, the cylindrical structures look a lot like the 40K scale Tau models seen in issues of W/D...
I think the J.R. mini site has a few too. Worth a look...

Because the Tau remind me a lot of the Anime, I expected their buildings to look a lot like the anime styled "super structures" seen in many of the mecha styled anime.
You know, lots of sweeping glass and steel in odd shapes, not the building blocks look of so many of our large tower buildings.
Anyway, that is what I thought.

there was an article in an old WD where someone built a Tau city (complete with monorail) for WH40K
I would dig it out, but I've packed!

One way to get Tau buildings if we're cunning. Take a look at Old Crow as suggested. If you think this style is good or with some tweaks would work then send them an e-mail I know Jez and his compadres from OC and if enough of us asked it may get him to concentrate on epic scale stuff. I've already nagged the guy who does the web site down the pub. Ask or suggest nice and we may prosper!? Cheers and hopes.

Yes, IIRC the Tau City board was at Canuck G-Day...
I'll go to the W/D Index site and see if I can find the issue... Standby... W/D 262, I just checked my Black Library too! ?
And both OLD CROW and J.R. Minis have suitable structures that could be used as a base, with a little imaginative converting, for the Tau.

For a bit of serendipity I've always thought that those plug in plastic air freshener thingys would look fantastic. I'll see if I can find the particular one and maybe a pic.
