Well I'm in the middle of converting myself a battlewagon for my Orks.  I've used a landraider as the basis to start on.

So far I have kept it simple, I have moved the engine block and exhaust to the 'front' of the landraider, to then make this the rear of the battlewagon.  It results in a more brutsih look.  I have kept the top open (as it should be an open top vehicle) but I'm slowly getting stuck for ideas and material.  Anyone know any links to some pics of some?

better late than dead

The following may prove useful

Ork Land Raider -  won a Golden Demon according to the GW Website

this one's a little scrappy looking (too scrappy even for Orks)

Ork Battle Waggon (sic)

this one's based on the original Land Raider

Grog's Landraider

here are some other Ork Vehicles for reference

Big Wheeled Thing

Another shot of Big Wheeled Thing

and as for this (well it's not a Land Raider) but it's downright silly

Silly Ork Battle Wagon

The last one looks similar to the one I'm building.  I was usure what to do at the front, but the cab on that one looks okay. The other Land Raider ones aren't converted enough.

Cheers.

ShadowHunter,

Did you ever finish your Ork conversions?

If so, how did they turn out?

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

I have nearly finished this (I know its taking a long time).

So far I have butchered a Land Raider as the main section, I have butchered two Bikez to create two twin linked Big Shoota seated gun turrets.  And the front section I have put a large Jaw.  Also, I used a buggy chassis and driver for the driver of this.

I have to add a gun tower with the main gun on yet. (probably a zzap gun)  and then paint it.  I have just bought my first digi camera, so once  arrived I can take some pics of what its like at the moment.
