Hello me again, I made this SC just after making the BB. Thought I'd beef it up a little with left over bits and the Sc I ordered at the same time as the other parts for the BB.

Weapons loadout

3-4 bombardment cannons(depending on how it trys out on the battle map)
2 lance turrets (ssshhhh BH I know)
8 firepower
3 torpedos

Again, for fun and..well just to use up random bits.

Nice ship.

I never read a thing about lances. My pc has been altered so lances & Marines are blocked.  :vD

Nice conversion! I like the side profile and 3/4ths but I think those rear wings need more bulk. They are a bit close to the sides right now and they compete with the nose section. I think if you spaced them out a little farther from the side of the ship it would work better.

Thanks both,

I think it could do with some extra back bulk, but not sure what to use. I got 2 left over Battlebarge side fins, I might try sticking those to the wings.

Quick update. I stuck these on for show with blutack, to see what it would look like. Keeping in mind I'll probably beef up the section ethier side of the bridge tower. It looks ok, but seems a little to much. Might just be me, so what you think?

I think that works out really well right there. very solid design and I like the more clean lines of the bridge segment too. BTW is the main hull based on the dauntless? I'm tempted to have a go at this style strike cruiser in here sometime I'd be interested in knowing what bits you were using.

Cool, thats what I'll go for. I'll attach them tomorrow. Cheers Vaaish.

Regarding the design..it wasnt meant to be, it does have the weapon battries from the duntless crusier. But was just running off the design of a SC, just a more beefy one. To be honest I just stuck the bit together and hoped for the best, I did have an idea of what I wanted though.

Almost look like a mini battlebarge...nearly. Unfortunatley this will be the only one as the bit used on top was a left over part from a retubution In battleship. Should of made a mould.

As for bits I'll list them.

1 space marine SC
2 WB from the IN dauntless
1 section from IN battleship(could make it from bits)
1 Gun from IN battleship prow
2 torpedo tubes from SM BB
2 side fins from SM BB
1 chaos bridge tower
1 choas lance turret
1 random bit for mast type thingy
and Greenstuff
