I really like the overall design except for the skinny treads.  Wider treads would make it look more robust and better able to carry the weight of the tank.

The retro energy zapper turret is ace and the whole model really feels like Victorian Sci-Fi. :agree:

Ha! That's really funny! I do feel that a lot of victoriana games miss out on some of the better models so this can only be a step forward.

I also think it needs far wider tracks (2 or three times), some sag/ slack in the tracks between the drive wheels would also complement the overall  image.

I thought skinny tracks were funnier.

If your still working on it a far taller flue would be cool with a Chinese hat style top or even something inspired by American paddle steamers. A tow bar would also enable me to hook up some armoured carriges and/or a coal truck!

The Land Frigate is not used for towing, that'll be the job of the Land Tug!

Oh oh oh, also please do a Gatling gun turret! Win!

Zombocom wants me to do a Gattling-Gattling turret.
As in 3 gattling guns that rotate around each other whilst firing.

Oh, and a flamethrower turret version with a separate fuel trailer!

That sounds cool.

I'm also going to do a Land Corvette (smaller than a frigate).

Plus in the fullness of time a Land Cruiser and a Land Battleship.

Hope you've seen "Steam Boy" and "Wild Wild West"!

I'm aware of both, at least.

Hope you've seen "Steam Boy" and "Wild Wild West"! I always wanted to wargame an alternative history where the American Civil War went on a bit longer and they developed even more ingeneous machines....

Keep'em coming!

For a while there was a spin of mini game attached to the background for Deadlands, the weird west RPG. Can't remember what it was called and I'm sure its no longer in print.

Deadlands was awesome! Good memories of playing a campaign of that one time, a RPG using poker hands as random determiners rather than dice was very cool.

Nice weird tank E&C!

Land Mines.... like the old spikes naval ones... but steam powered so they roll towards the enemy!

That's not a Land Mine, it's a Land Torpedo!
But with a spikey naval mine type ball on the front!

Lots of cool ideas there. I'm thinking for the cruiser and battleship I'll arrange the gun turrets so that half of them can't fire forwards, so it has to turn side-on and fire broadsides!
