Hello again

I have continued the WWI 1/72 aircraft project for my Club's Canvas Eagle campaign.

The next aircraft to roll of the factory floor is a classic Nieuport 11, the "Bebe."

All my French aircraft will follow the colors of the Lafayette Escadrille.  This aircraft has the paint scheme found on their Nieuport 11s and Nieport 16s in the fall of 1916.

The pilot is a FOW bialed tank crew converted and painted by my Friend Lamont.

Here are the pics.

Another bank shot.

I'll repeat my earlier lessons learned.  Landing gears are no fun!

Hope you enjoyed the pics.

Superb CC. Those decals below the top wing look painful to do but turned out great.
More!

Well I have finally finished by German plane to match the two allied planes I have built.

I'm not a great fan of the Eindeckers, flimsy looking things. ?But I must saw I am rather proud on how this turned out. ?I wonder how long it will last on the gaming table. Once again th epilot was converted and painted by my freind Lamont.  ?

He is the dirty hun. ?Watch out Algy!

A lovely view of the Oberursel U.I 9-cylinder air-cooled rotary engine, 100 hp (75 kW) engine.

My car has more horse power than that!?  ???

This picture just shows that the count is never to be unduanted by the jaming of his spandau.

He brought his trusty revolver.

Hope you liked the pics.

Now I have to move to the Wave 2 aircraft.

That's splendid CC! The canvas came out splendidly, as did the stitching on the underside of the fuselage. Grand :) :) :) :)

They are simply beautiful CC - very well done indeed.
They look the buisness and make great display models as well as gaming peices.

I love those bases too - I am currently trying to decide how to base my Vietnam helos and aircraft....
