The battles on the fringe of the village were delaying the Soviet armor from moving into the village.

This gave time for the real teeth of the German counter attack to make it's pressence felt.

Tigers!  :O

Soviet airpower attempts to destroy the counter thrust but only mange to destroy one Tiger.

A lone kobra pilot becomes a hero of the Soviet union for that action.

Powerful Jospeh Stalin Tanks move in to counter the Tigers.

While the flying tanks attempt to destroy the Tigers with their 23mm cannons. ?

3 JS2 vs one Tiger what can go wrong!?!  ???

Well these JS 2 crews must be getting use to thier new weapons. ?On top of that the Soviet Airforce fails, only managing to skae up the Tigers.  Bu tth ecrews quickly recover.   Of course now they are mad!

The Tiger on the hill survives and his comrades move in the assist.

The German counter attack has devestated the Soviet right.

Corn hill is a mass of wrecked communist vehicles. ?

The armored transporter platoon flees into the woods to escape the approaching Tigers. ?

In the background the carnage from the other Soviet tank battalion is seen on the road to the village. ?

They risked a high speed dash into the village but exposed themselves to the Panthers, who cut deeply into their numbers. ? ?

They arrive too weak to to dislodge the German platoons holding the crossraods. ?

Still the German focus on the Soviet right means that the Tigers are far away from the Soviet infantry forces to interfere with the battle for the crossroad. But where is the Soviet infantry?

The Soviet infantry have arrived but delays have cost them dearly. ?They outnumber the Germans near the crossroad and make some head way into the village. ?But the attack has been launched too late. ?The few German platoons hold off the Soviets long enough. ?

With night approaching, troops exhausted, and German armored Panzer Grenadiers moving rapidly to reinforce the area the Soviets withdraw leaving the Germans in control.

The Germans have won this day, but they know this is only a temporary pause.

The Soviets will be back with more tanks, more infantry, more artillery, and more planes. The Germans will have make due with whats left, there are no replacements. ?Time is almost up for Germany.

If you like WWII but don't want to leave 6mm may I recomend Blitzkrieg commander? Its warmaster but for Tigers. And damn fine as well (plus if you know warmaster you don't have to learn a new game :) ).
