It all makes sense Primachs would primarily be concerned with moving huge planet or even sector wide formations. :p

Have either of you guys have experience with Spearhead?

Spearhead is a great set of rules, and yet another that would make a great engine for a upscaled Epic campaign.

On another note- how are your Ironclads and Dreadnoughts going CC? :)

Hi CC,

I have played SH, MSH and even GWSH.

I prefer games below the operational strategic level, which is where the SH series are.

I really like 1 for 1 mini representation.

The SH series is fun, but it wasn't for me. The odd basing 1&1/4" is part of it and some of the scale/representation modelling wasn't to my taste.

However, that being said, I don't think there is a better game out there on the Operational Strategic level.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

First, I must confess I have not played it.

However, I've read the rules and as I am a VERY experienced rules collector I think my opinion has some merit.  :;):

The game is based on GW's Warmaster, as you probably know. However, it has some really clever and simple twists to make it work in WWII. Personally I think it is best played at 1 gun/vehicle/infantry stand = 1 platoon as otherwise the warmaster's wound system IMO creates a peculiar atmosphere for the game.

The online support of the game is second to none as the designer frequents the BKC forum and answers questions promptly.
