Hi! After seeing the Irregular Miniatures SCW range, and being an epic fan, i have been tempted to buy a pair of armies to play this game, but i have a major problem: there seems to be no rule set for wargaming at that scale and scenario. Do you know any rule set usable for 6mm SCW wargaming?

Are we talking about the Spanish Civil war of the 1930's?

If so I think the FOW rules would work well, transferred to 6mm.

Or maybe Spearhead

Blitzkrieg Commander I can recommend personally. Clean and fast rules and unmatched online support. Pete (the designer) is a top class fellow.

CD4 comin out in a few weeks? Now that's some news. I'll just have to grab a copy.

EDIT: I just happen to have a spare copy of Blitzkrieg Commader rules. If you are interested drop me a line.

Hi YO,

There are a whole bunch of SCW rulesets or sets with SCW expansions:

- GHQ
- I Ain't Been shot Yet, Mum!
- Rompan El Fuego!

And a number of others.

And my favorite peice from the Irregular 6mm SCW line are the barricades.

There are also some nice photos of a 6mm SCW set from a French miniaturist. Check out the 6mm Yahoo group.

And I have some from the 2M2G gaming I do:

I'll be uploading some more photos later today to this folder:

We've been playing SCW for awhile now.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

I have some beta test of the rules somewhere but am leaving for Tenerife and won't come back until the 14th August. I'll be able to email it to someone at that time.

cheers

Lucky dog.  Have some sun for me, ok?

EDIT: Oh, and big thanks for the link. I knew there was going to be CD4 but had been unable to find that particular website.

Just to note, as well as "I ain't been shot mum"  toofatlardies also produce a set of rules specifically for the period of the Spanish Civil War.

They are called:

Triumph of the Will

They can be found at this URL
