This is interesting, Reaper announced yesterday that they're going to be doing a fantasy line of prepainted plastic minis. These aren't going to be collectable like D&D or Mechwarrior. No pictures of prototypes or anything like that yet. Just an expected release date of June. I think right now they're aiming at the RPG market and use as proxies in wargames. The announcement is the first news items at the link above. |

I'm curious as well, if it's any good I may use them to fill out the ranks for the few Warlord models I have. I don't enjoy painting fantasy minis nearly as much as I do sci-fi. |

Even for figures I prefer sci-fi. If given the choice, I'd paint a random sci-fi trooper before a super cool fantasy character. |
