I was thinking of starting Khador. Aiming first to 350 point of Mangled Metal. Karchev seems like great place to start, he is a jack himself! So which 2 jacks could have best synenergies with Karchev?

Kharchev and 2 Kodiaks or Karchev and 2 Berserkers. The former is at 334 points, the latter only 268 points and you can't fit any other jack in there so I would go with Karchev and 2 Kodiaks.

And Karchev is not a jack. Nor is he a warrior.

Heh, indeed. ;) Should have said "almost a jack himself".

I bought Khador starter, so first I shall test them and then get Karchev, use him with Juggs and Destroyer. Then get 2 Kodiak. :F

That would give me 2 caster, 4 Jacks.

If you got the Starter box then stick with it since Karchev and 2 Kodiaks will set you back a lot of $. However, Sorscha isn't really known for her jack loving. Usually she takes just 1 jack with her. I suppose you can just take Karchev with the 2 Kodiaks and 1 Destroyer in bigger games but then you'd have to build another list for Sorscha. Again more money.

Sorcha does sufer with multiple jacks. options do include jack marshals outside the 350 mark...

failing that just blow up your beserkers...

Sorscha doesn't take too well with Berserkers also. One Berserker is fine. More than one and her 6 focus goes down real quick. Actually, as you pointed out Sorscha would be one of the better Khadoran casters to have a jack marshal as it would free her to do her thing, especially with a Destroyer. Freeze up people and start shooting with the Destroyers, Widowmakers and 2xMortars. Throw in some Greylords and Eiryss and she's got it made.

Damn. :)

Well, it seems like more ?$? to burn. Luckily euro is strong so buying from US is quite affortable.

Would Karchev with Destroyer and Juggernaut do any good in MM? Would it be bad, passable or good (it cant be great because general opinion seems to be that pers-erkit (Berserks) and Kodaks (I mean Kodiaks) are that great choise).

Oh, and I dont like adding mercs to other factions, but that is just personal taste.

Karchev can make the Destroyer and Juggernaut better but he really makes the Berserkers and Kodiaks shine with iron Curtain knocking down stuff and letting the Berserkers and Kodiaks get off their chain attacks.

With the Destroyer, he can Tow it and it can shoot with no shooting penalty and makes its axe as well as the Juggernaut's absoultely murder with Unearthly Rage but they'd in all likelihood get off only one attack (with an Open Fist attack for the Jug) with it, what with Karchev's paltry 5 focus.

Hence its really best if you can give Karchev models that can effectively do more than one attack (this is where the Kodiak and Berserker comes in) and to a certain extent the Marauder and the Behemoth also.

Berserker is fine, but it kinda looks like Khorne... He even have those trims (?) on his shoulders.

What was that thingie with those pistons/stonechoppers? Old slammer? I like him a lot.

That would be the Marauder. An underutilized jack but one that can shine if used properly. Handsomest too among the 3 Prime Khador jacks.

My Khador box has not arrived yet. :(

I ordered them in 7 th day, so soon. Yes, soon.

I probably buy those 2 kodiaks and Karchev. Then I have lots of nice shiny warjacks and one army for MM. Later I shall get some other guys.

Actually, the non-epic Butcher works very well as a caster for Mangled Metal (he's also notably cheaper than Karchev, and much easier to build, too!)
