There's something i have been looking for ages, and i don't seem to be able to get. and that's tengu (more properly known as a karasu tengu) miniatures 25-28 mm scale. For those of you who don't know what a tengu is:



Long ago there was a Ral Partha miniature which seems to be just perfect:



But it's OOP, and it's impossible to get one (i have been checking the net for a very looong time, and never saw one available). So my questions are:

- Do you know of any company which produces this kind of creature?

- Do you know of any other miniature which could be easily converted? (chopping out the head of a samurai, using a bird's head from somewhere and the wings of a swooping hawk and the sculpt the feathers over all the exposed flesh is NOT considered an easy conversion)

- Last of it all, do you know any "cheap" 28mm miniatures sculptors? ?:O


OK, maybe the last question is out of order (i'm not that rich after all...)

I'm fairly certain AEG did some Tengu for their Clan War game.  It is now OOP, but you can get their stuff cheap if you can find it.  Good luck.

No, they didn't... they did some nagas, and i think they even produced some ratmen, but never tengu.
