Minis look nice, but I've heard many complaints about them often being deformed or broken in the packet, and the smaller ships being made of bendy plastic.

What are the rules like? Anyone know?

Hehe thanks CC! I see Maksim didn't think much of it! :D

Ah well, no cheap and easy 'BFG' variant for me then.

On a side note, it is very easy to convert the NetEPIC rules to starfighter combat, use the fighters as infantry and capital ships as titans. We had some excellent games.

Some of the ships aren't bad. ?I would keep an eye when the strores sell individuals models.

That way you can see them before you buy them.

I intend to use the frieghter as a generic cargo ship for my gothic fleets.

But I'll wait unitl they sell the individual minis in the bargain bin.

I thought this looked kindda interesting but the fact that you can't choose exactly which models yu want is a real turnoff :(

Hi MarkCONZ, Luis, and Gang,

Like many out there, I got a chance to playtest the game when it debuted and didn't think much of it.

I wrote a bit about it here on my blog:

http://6mm-minis.blogspot.com/

I've come to the conclusion that I prefer many of the old Micro-Machines to the newer models although I plan to buy a number of the ships that Micro-Machines never made when the singles market opens up.

My friend and I plan to play a different game using the minis. The main game isn't very entertaining.

My opinion hasn't changed of it as of January 1, 2006 after a few more tries. ?

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.
