A card based spaceship game, where your ship is your 'character', and grows with experience as you complete missions (co-operative and competitive with other players). Any ship models can be used. Sounds a bit like Mordheim, with your ship like that in Blakes 7, Red Dwarf etc. Or maybe Rogue Traders.
