Post subject:  looking for advice on a rule set

Hi All, been a while since I have had time to od any 6mm gaming. I'm currently looking for a good set of rules for gaming. anyone can recommend something to cover the below requirements

base to squad or platoon for infantry, 1 base to a vehicle preffered

unit design system - have quite a few epic 40k armies and looking to build some more with plasmablast and microworld minis

regiment or corp level

covers ground air and space combat to run system invasions.

currently were looking at using the battletech strategic ops rules (battleforce) as this will allow for a full invasion, but really would like something that allows for a bit of variety with aliens and more exotic tech eg grav vehicles.

I could look at some house rules but have always preffered something where the works already done.

as a fallback I'm going to back polyversal for purely a ground combat game but would be nice to find something that does everything like the battletech rules nearly does.

last note if a system needs a number of books to be able to achieve this it isn't much of a problem if you know battletech you need a library to play.

Helle,
The Maker-War Ruleset has all your requirements covered, aside from actual space combat.
You can find it for free at http://www.maker-war.com.
There you can access tools to create whole factions from scratch, including units, War engines etc.

If you have a suggestion for space combat, maybe based on the Titan rules I can even include these in the Rulebook.

I would check out the strike legion rules, massive scale, space combat and a rules if you wanted to for skirmish level individual troopers.

I See in wargamevault the descripton for strike Legion. Company level.

Is there any rule set for massive play. Not only tokens like one miniature is a Bataillon.
