Hope I'm not repeating old news here. Well, 4-day old news anyway. Warpath is Mantic's currently active sci-fi battle game Kickstarter. It's in 28mm, BUT one of the upgrades is the addition of a set of rules adapted to 10mm scale models. These will not be available separately from the main (28mm) rule book, it seems, and there is no sign of models yet. Still, might be worth keeping an eye on. Neat! Though I'd prefer 6mm for sci fi. They can do KoW in 10mm, that'll work out good. |

Well, I already did a battle report in 6mm with the old rules: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-QHN9SBVYQ I think that this might work just as well. Personally I'll only be disappointed if they decide to release 10mm minis for this, as opposed 6/8mm as that would mean all my glorious models would be incompatible. I really enjoyed the fact that I could play in such a small space with the rules scaled down. |
