Ebay is indeed quite "dangerous" nowadays as recasts abound.
Of course, I accumulated all this in the "old days" when things were plentiful. I could not imagine replicating it in the present.
I went looking through this again and are still in awe as I was the first time I looked at this. Many of my friends who don't share my hobby always think I have a ton of stuff, but I really don't have a lot when I look at what other gamers seem to accumulate. And I am the opposite of a horder. As soon as I think I have no use for something, its gone. Its almost like I feel the excess is literally weighing me down, and the second I throw it out, I feel lighter and more organized.
I am always going through things and getting rid of that weight. I have to admit there have been things I let go of and wished I hadn't (Epic being one of them), but I just didnt have the space. But even now I am not looking to overwhelm myself. Just be happy within a certain level and that seems to vary at times.
But Primarch, looking at your stuff reminds me of being a 10 year old in a Toys R Us.
Hi!
Actually as I get older, I do a lot more as you mention. If it doesn't get used I get rid of it.
My non-epic collection of things (other mini lines, RPG's etc) is now as small (or virtually non-existent) as it has ever been at any point in my life.
This is because I decided about 3 years ago, that I would solely dedicate myself to ONE thing. That thing is epic, so all my time, money and attention now goes into that. To the virtual exclusion of all else.
I guess I'm more "focused" now.
Like you though, I do feel 10 again when I stand in the middle of my stuff.
