Hello, I went to Birmingham Games Expo yesterday with my local gaming group (Bury Wargamers); there was a big demo table of the new Hammer's Slammers game - I thought I'd get some pics as I know one or two people on here ;) are quite interested in this...

Enjoy! :)

That's another reason I do 6mm ... Soon Old Crow will be making those Drake Approved Slammer M2s, M9s etc. ... And then my Epic G/W forces will know what it is like to go toe-2-toe with a real "deadly" Force !! ;D Note these pics are the 15mm versions, but once released, the 6mm versions will pretty much be "Doppelgangers" ... ;D

Having finally been able to get my hands on some Hammer's Slammers books, I fully intend to pick up some miniatures in 15mm. Though I'll be using homebrew rules I'm working on.

Well I don't have to tell you the Old Crow models are the best ... and Drake Approved ... But Of course I'm awaiting the 6mm versions ... ;D

Are the GZG figures still the best bet for the infantry?

Yep ... that's what I'm using for my 6mm Slammers - GZG NAC Infantry & Skimmers ... However GZG makes 15mm Slammer Infantry & Skimmers ... If you are using that scale ...

Yes, they are ... and GZG makes both skimmer mounted & dismounted types. Infantry must be able to move on foot many times too ... Take my word for it !! :D And in a couple of Slammer stories, they do dismounted operations ... Flexibility, you know ... ;D
