It is clear these guys move at a snails pace. I have returned to my skeptical pessamist attitude regarding them. They seem to be heading the same way Eurika's 300 club went.

I talked to them today, I'm sending off some sprues to them so they can figure out gating runners on the sprue. They should have them in a couple days as they're in MA as well.

On a side note, someone posted a bases idea. If you like the old 20mm square bases check them out.

We're currently at 80%.

Dafrca, they've gotten a lot of entries. In his last email Tony said he still had 448 to post. Considering it's been a little over a month I think they're doing pretty good with no experience with 6mm sprue casting, a small staff and just concept sketches and pictures. It takes GW how long to go from a concept to an actual release?

They really did underestimate the response that they'd get to this program though.

So, I'm guessing they've never met a typical wargamer

Who hasn't heard something like:
"I really wish someone made blahblah troops in the uniforms they only used for 8 months during the yaddayadda war."

If you haven't, it's because you were the one saying it.  Not that I'd ever be caught doing something like that

dafrica, I agree with Dave.  These things take time.  Our little group were feverish about getting Raiders done and it took us 13 MONTHS.  I am guessing that making 6mm androids that meet the standards of a typical gamer is much more difficult.

Whoa!  Okay, I guess I can cut them some slack.  Man, who'da thunk it?

Still looking forward to seeing my 15mm/Matchbox scale Mad Max kitbashing sprue, though...

But it did not take you 13 months to post the idea. Right?

If you read my post I was saying they were moving slow in posting the ideas up on the board for folks to be able to commit to the buying of the ideas. I still have not seen the idea for seperate weapons so cars could be converted and that was sent in how long ago?

I have no issue with the speed things move once the commitment reaches a high enough level. I never even implied that was the case. All I said was they were moving too slow in posting the ideas.

And yes, they are trying to address this issue and may have found a solution (little sister).

I sent them in a E40k marine sprue for reference, I haven't gotten a confirmation on whether they've got them or not. I'm hoping they aren't casualties of the mail system.

I just heard back from Tony, the sample sprues arrived at WF today after floundering around in the building for awhile.

He said now that they know what they're dealing with they're going to look for an external sculptor.
