This is the last scenario of a In the Emperor's name campaign I've played using Epic figures on individual bases and the Chain Reaction Final Version rules.

Blind-

I'm cutting their plastic bases out and sticking the miniatures on cut off heads of metal drawing pins/thumbtacks.
