Interesting. These two could make a interesting Thunderhawk Close Air Support for Scions of Iron apart from for AI2.

Why not just use the actual TBrick to base it off? Just need big bombs underneath. Got those already modeled if you need some (DM)

That would be the SB one but ...

Hmmm ... i wrote a bunch of reasons for not doing it, but after thinking about it for a while most reasons would vanish if i were to magnetize some parts to switch between Thunderhawk Gunship/CAS or SB depending on the game. Just make some big bombs and missiles so they are easy to differentiate as I do not intend to make a Turbo Laser for the CAS.

Only would remain the fact that Epic Thunderhawks are relatively expensive, and only have a few which i got very cheap. I even used this to avoid buying Landas (temporarily). https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/rbv ... 2.jpg?dl=1 But for now is enough.

well i'm about to to start selling my FW ones soon and CHEAP so YMMV

What's on the CAS bomber then? Can't keep it all straight anymore that I'm middle aged

Turbo-Laser and two missiles. It is a 45cm AT Bomber.

About the other, as you have guessed from me wanting to use those two or the Wyvern for Thunderhawks, i prefer size to a scale number, so FW ones are too big. thanks for telling, anyways.

If going to buy Epic ones, i would be more interested on mk2 ones, and second on mk3, but i would need to see some mk2 again first, as it has been a long time since the last one.

Has anyone played the new game? Is it any good? It looks as if it doesn't have a large enough area to make the game interesting

It does actually but it's a lot closer to a board game. I'm using old rules as much as new (or intent to)

Not happy that they will be resin and not plastic, but I will still probably pick up one of each.

not optimal but far some horrible.
the best thing about this will be we'll have better source to play with the Vampire STL we pass around to match

FYI, I picked up the new Aeronautica Imperialis Companion book (or booklet, really).

There isn't much to it, but it did include rules for all known Craftworld aircraft, including the hemlock wraith fighter and the crimson hunter/nightshade interceptor (but the artwork for the crimson hunter/nightshade is wrong).

Based on the overall thinness of the book, it is plausible that this is the last release for the game that GW will make outside of Forgeworld resin pieces.

It's the WD content and core rules booklet combination. Not a dissimilar thing from the Loyalist Legions book from AT (being a much more 'crunchy' game, obviously a bigger book).

Chaos flyers will absolutely happen. I'll buy you a beer if I'm wrong though. The question will be what happens after that.

Here is the size comparison of the new book to the older 2.

Ignore the fact that the plastic wrap is still on nearly all of the other books.
