Hi all

I usually lurk about and read the posts. But thought I would come out of hiding just to say that GHQ are thinking of dipping their toes into 6mm Sci-fi

Could all be very interesting

Good for them. Wonder when it will happen though...

But yeah, the more the merrier, if it means they can increase the 6mm scifi market, it could be a gateway for new peeps becoming interested in ranges like Onslaught, Vanguard Miniatures, Microworld, etc.

Will be intresting to see what model range GHQ will introduce have never purchased direct from them, bought a few of their little apvs to kit bash for the gobblers, pretty tidy casts. Hopefully they will introduce a new intresting range. Regarding competetion for Vanguards, dont think it will happen John. Everybody is bitten by the proxies for the system we all love, I move of to the quar every now and again for a bit of a break of painting up the same thing but always come back to the same universe ;)

Even though it would be interesting to explore some other universes as well. Even if the models could be used as proxies for the one we all grew up with...

I do like their Wehrmacht '47 line. Some nice pieces that can work for IG ! E-100, Maus, etc. !

Their Sci-fi line should be very cool !

I do have a bunch of the 47's myself.

Have a mountain of GHQ models from my historical collecting period lovely models but not really compatible with epic well for the most part anyway. The modern infantry range is bigger though 7/8mm in some cases so may be of some use if you are looking for near future infantry.

Yes, if I didn't have so much to paint ... I'd be buy some Wehrmacht '47 and GHQs 3d World Warrior line. Those Mid East, African, etc., Infantry would make good Cultists. Or even IG ... http://www.ghqmodels.com/store/modern-m ... odern.html

I'm a big fan of GHQ's WW2 line and have several armies but I've not mixed them at all, I would imagine that the casting for SciFi will be as good, it all depends on what they come up with in design terms as to whether I'll buy or not.

I'd love to see GHQ do one of these Badd Boys ! P1000 Ratte ! Now that's a Titan proxy !!!! >:D I asked but no joy ... :(

Or GHQ already makes E-100s and Maus ... Not big enough for Super Hvy for Epic ... but would make good MBTs ...
