The Polyversal Kickstarter relaunch is a week in and we're nearing the $30k funding goal with over 200 backers and counting.

The game, designed by Ken Whitehurst, is well-tested, has been developed over a number of years, is compatible with all 6mm-15mm sci-fi miniatures, and offers starter sets grouped into four possible 'battlegroups', 2 each for the UN and OPFOR factions as shown below. There are also pledges for just the rules, or just the rules plus all the dice, tokens, and counters you'll need to play. In addition, the more funding we raise for the game, the more models we'll be able to include for Kickstarter backers only (these are models that will not be in the retail version). Finally, also new for the relaunch- we're including some limited unreleased models from Brigade Models, Plasmablast Games, and a piece of terrain from The Phalanx Consortium.

We just revealed our first stretch goal which nets everyone at the Adjutant pledge and higher a superheavy Infernus tank from Microworld Games (with Combatant Tile we design).

Of particular note are two external reviews that we received- one from Mike Hobbs of Meeples and Miniatures and one from Maurice Fitzgerald of Clubfantasci. They both had access to the full rules in order to make an assessment of the game.

Ken and I really hope you'll join us for Polyversal. We're almost there and we'd love to have you on board with this game.

Looking a lot better than the first attempt. Im still frustrated however... Can you direct me to an actual battle report? I want to see what a typical force looks like, how things move around the table, how forces whittle down under fire, and then recover again, what the scenarios look like. Small demos of a handful of units and brief run downs of the stats and turn structure are fine, I just want to see it in action...

Sounds like a great promotional video on you tube. That's great marketing stuff to have (especially on sites like Dakka where they put all types of games into the News and Information section)

Hi!

A see a mix of manufacturers in those pictures. That is actually a very good idea to promote this game. :)

@Legion - The minis included are from 5 partners: Plasmablast Games, Dark Realm Miniatures, Brigade Models, Microworld Games, and Hawk Wargames.

@Blip - I think the presentation is greatly improved and we have 2 external reviews now as well that were very positive. I realize you want to see a fully played game- and we wanted to film one- but we were unable to work that in prior to the relaunch. We may however do a live broadcast using Periscope @CEWargames. If we can work that out and live broadcast a game, you're welcome to follow along- we'll announce that through an update and schedule it. It's not as good as an edited playthrough- but it could satisfy that desire to see the game in action more fully.

Thanks for everyone's interest in the game.

Oops just checked it's the rail variant not the plasma.
Its the same model though, the one in the pic above just has a lot of its details painted over with the camo scheme.
