I think you're thinking the wrong direction. Not larger, smaller. 1/500 titans and they're the focus (maybe exclusively). They are not redoing epic but mining it for something newish.

Aren't most of the Titans already 1/500 scale. Could be they are going to actually do them in 1/300 scale so rescaling to what they should be.

Have to agree ... GW and my dealings with them go back to '90 ... They make some "interesting" decisions ... :eh

Hi!

Not too surprised this may be the way things turn up.

There is no way GW can bring out the epic scale breath and scope in the current business environment.

It makes business sense to them to make a titan only game at a scale that is incompatible with the old one so as not to have the secondary market cut into its sales.

I would have been surprised if the plan was anything else but this.

Well if they are smaller titans, that's fine, we can use them old scale Warlord proxies...

If they are big, we'll use them as truescale warlords or as Imperator proxies. =-D

In any case, I think we can find a use for them in our armies, and fresh fodder for Chaos players to sink their teeth into. =)

I'm also expecting something more fast and casual style.

Exactly my thoughts.

I'd be willing to get behind it if:

1) I can afford it.
2) I can find people to play it.
3) The miniatures are worth my time to assemble and paint.
4) The game is worth playing.

If it's not compatible with the current Epic stuff in any form imaginable, and as long as the four things above have been met, then I'll do it. It won't stop me from keeping an interest in auld-Epic, either. The two can co-exist in my world as far as I'm concerned.
