is the title of the thread unintentionally accurate, or are you aware that the 'punchline' paragraph was fabricated? (they also 'blackified' the suspects name in a nice touch of casual racism) if you want to read a less amusing but more accurate article on the incident, take a look at this one |

Not so casual; careful and calculated. Adding the punchline to the story is funny, but the "blacking up" of the name is not. |

Anyone remember a simialr thing happening in the uk a while back? Thief with a gun holds up petrol station. Runs outside with the cash. meets the British Army Rugby team on their way to a match. points gun at them, they smile a little. So he fires a warning shot at the floor. One army guy looks at the other. " That was a blank. Right, get him." They were actually quite embarrassed about it afterwards, in case people tried to copy them. |
