One of the new sites that TGN is hoping to "roll out" soon is a social news site that allows people to submit links to their own content or interesting gaming content found on the web. http://social.tabletopgamingnews.com/ Readers of the site then vote for stories they find interesting with content that gets a high enough number of votes making it to the front page. You need to register with the site to vote and submit content. The site's main focus is to allow gamers who post articles, AARs, photo galleries, rumours or tips to find a common site where they can try to promote this content but also to find other interesting gaming material from other gamers. There are no "gatekeepers" of the content of TGN Social: the gamers determine what is news. We're still in the testing and tweaking phase so please do drop by http://social.tabletopgamingnews.com/ and give the site a try. |

Ohhh. Del.icio.us for wargamers! Fantastic idea. I have signed up... but struggled with the maths question! You didnt tell us we would need a calculator! Best of luck with this. It has the potential to be a phenomenal resource. |

Sadly the math question is there to put a limit on the spammers I have to deal with. If you go to the Tools page http://social.tabletopgamingnews.com/tools there is a Bookmarklet http://social.tabletopgamingnews.com/bookmarklets that you can drag to your browser bookmark bar so you can click it when you come across interesting content and it will take the URL and title of the page and send the data to the Submit page on TGN Social for you. Makes it darn easy to submit content. |

I thought the same thing CS. min.icio.us I've got a suggestion PG. Could you make the off-site links a little bigger? Something between the Scoop title and text maybe? Also, maybe but them on their own separate line? Right now they really get lost. |

I'm thinking that someone, who has never been to the site before could have a merry 3 minutes going over all the stuff (clicking at rapid speed). Great initiative though! I really think a tool like this could come in handy. |
